Smart Lien System (SLS) – Policy, Terms of Service & Privacy

1. Scope of Service

The Smart Lien System (SLS) is an automated administrative platform provided by NUVSN® Agency to support chiropractic clinics in managing post-treatment personal injury lien follow-ups.

SLS ensures that completed cases remain visible to attorneys and are followed up consistently until payment is received.

Important Clarifications:

  • NUVSN® Agency does not provide legal services.

  • NUVSN® Agency does not negotiate liens or act as legal representation.

  • NUVSN® Agency does not collect payments on behalf of your clinic.

  • SLS provides automated attorney follow-ups, reduction alerts, milestone tracking, pipeline management, and monthly reporting only.

By using SLS, your clinic authorizes NUVSN® Agency to manage these administrative follow-ups for cases submitted through the system.

2. Privacy & Data Handling

NUVSN® Agency is committed to the confidentiality and security of your clinic’s information.

  • The Smart Lien System does not collect or store protected health information (PHI).

  • SLS only requires basic administrative information for workflow purposes:

    • Patient name

    • Date of accident

    • Attorney contact information

    • Treating clinic details

  • Submitted data is used exclusively for administrative follow-up, tracking, and reporting.

  • All data is stored securely and access is limited to authorized NUVSN® Agency personnel.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Smart Lien System, your clinic agrees to:

  1. Provide accurate administrative information for each submitted case.

  2. Use SLS in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  3. Understand that NUVSN® Agency provides administrative support only; legal negotiations, payment collection, and attorney communication decisions remain the responsibility of your clinic.

4. Limitation of Liability

NUVSN® Agency makes no guarantees regarding case outcomes, payment amounts, or attorney actions. SLS is intended solely to automate administrative follow-ups and track milestones.

5. Third-Party Communication

SLS may communicate with attorneys on your clinic’s behalf, but only for administrative follow-up purposes. No other third-party sharing of information occurs.

6. Reporting & Transparency

Clinics receive monthly pipeline and performance reports summarizing case milestones, reductions, and projected receivables to maintain full visibility into post-treatment revenue.

7. Governing Law

These terms and policies are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

8. Changes to This Policy

NUVSN® Agency may update these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of SLS constitutes acceptance of any revisions, which will be posted on this page.

By submitting cases through the Smart Lien System, your clinic acknowledges that it has read, understood, and agrees to these policies, terms of service, and privacy practices.
